The Icknield Way Association has wardens responsible for sections of the route to ensure the route is kept in good order. The Bedfordshire Ramblers group runs a team called Ripple who regularly meet to do maintenance on the rights of way network. The views across Dunstable Downs towards Ivinghoe Beacon have changed. UK Power Networks has removed the 33kV lattice tower line which has significantly changed the views.
