The Whipsnade white lion has stood proud on the Dunstable Downs for almost 100 years. Ivinghoe Beacon was used as a vantage point to check the accuracy of the outline. Whipsnade Zoo have plans to completely re-chalk the iconic white lion this summer, thanks to the commitment and dedication of a group of local volunteers.

Pace are organising a charity BIG walk on 10th May. They have various length walks with the longest walk using the Icknield Way from Dunstable to Ivinghoe Beacon before joining the Ridgeway to Wendover.
