The Icknield Way Association has wardens responsible for sections of the route to ensure the route is kept in good order. We current have vacancies for the following sections:

The warden duties are ideal for someone who lives near the section of route so they can walk the section of route several times a year to check the waymarking, obstructions and to ensure that the route is kept in good order. Full details are on the attached document.
If you would like to warden any other section of the Icknield Way we would be keen to hear from you, either you can work alongside the existing warden, or the existing warden may wish to relinquish some of their sections to a willing volunteer! Ideally, more people doing shorter sections gives us greater resilience to resignations.
