There are a series of articles about the Icknield Way in Essex from old newsletters, including Rough Justice for Little Abel. See Newsletter page.
In Essex the Icknield Way runs through the isolated villages of Chrishall, Elmdon and Strethall. They now describe themselves as the Icknield villages.
