Suffolk IP28 6ST
The past ten years have seen a transformation in our understanding of Britain’s Roman road network, as a consequence of Lidar data becoming freely available.
Dr Ratledge has uncovered forgotten Roman buildings, roads and villas all over the country, along with one of the western courses of the Icknield Way. His discoveries are informative and fascinating, and are certain to be of particular interest to those who wish to learn more about the long-forgotten and missing history of East Anglia.
- Refreshments will be provided
- The Icknield Way Guidebook will be available for sale without postage costs
- The talk and refreshments will be followed by the formal AGM (no obligation to stay following talk & refreshments)
